Overview
While the attention of the rest of the world was directed to Europe during the global mess that was World War II, a secretive operation was in effect in Japan. Scientists under the lead of Shiro Ishii conducted experiments on innocent civilians of all ages and referred to them as logs to remove any suspicions of their actions. Experiments included but was not limited to infecting test subjects with disease, placing them in gas chambers, burying them alive and leaving them in the path of destruction from atomic weapons. This could be easily compared to the actions of the Holocaust which was taking place in the same time frame. The facility that conducted the biological and chemical warfare research in the operation was known as unit 731.
